Happy Thanksgiving

The key phrase in these words is GIVING and the Ronkonkoma Rotary Club turned out in a big way to give the local poor , homeless and our nations veterans.

The Ronkonkoma Rotary club in connection with Fannigans Pub of Ronkonkoma helped eh local poor, homeless and our nations veterans have a Thanksgiving meal. Flannigan's provided and prepared 120 dinners and there were over 70 visitors all of whom took home additional food. The Rotary club provided service and cleanup for this event and also provided transportation to some people from as far as Bayshore..the Rotary club had almost 20 members. Some members brought their amilies to help with the service

Flannigans staff took time to meet with the guests and the bartender brought three bags of toys for the children who attended.

What a tremendous start to the Holiday season. Even the weather cooperated.
