John McNamara
Camille joined Rotary in October 2015 and became active right away. She has served as the club’s program coordinator, Interact Club liaison and Gift of Life club representative. She also spent some time on the Run Around the Lake committee.
Camille participated in Rotary’s Youth Exchange program in 1986-87, spending that school year in Belgium. Since joining the club Camille has hosted 2 long term Rotary Youth Exchange students in her home. Her daughter, Emma, also participated in the short term program during the summer of 2017. Camille now serves as the Outbound Youth Exchange Chairperson for Rotary District 7255.
Prior to Rotary, Camille was involved in the community in several ways. She was a Religious Education instructor at St. Joseph Church in Ronkonkoma; She founded the MOMS Club of Western Brookhaven; She was a Girl Scout leader and Cub Scout Pack Treasurer for years. She continues to serve on the Board of the Connetquot Youth Football Organization.
Camille lives in Northport with her husband, Michael. They have college age children - Jack, Emma and Cole. She owns an insurance brokerage - the Camille Bunicci Agency - in Hauppauge. She is very excited and humbled to serve her club as President in 2021-22.
